“Cool” Places to Go

“Cool” Places to Go

So many places to go!  Some are right around the corner and others will be major journeys. I started a quick list of my own. After it stretched longer and longer, I was amazed at the immense world of experiences and opportunities in life! I have been to some of these places, others are fun ideas, and the rest are on that dream “bucket list.”  There are several more that I would like to add and I wonder … what did I forget?

Wilsons Promontory Victoria
Suggested by Wendy Schumann along with the Great Ocean Road, "it's the equivalent of Highway 101, but swimmable."

Mother’s Day 2016

I cheated this year. I simply copied my list from last year and updated it by deleting items received last year and adding some fresh ones. If you would like to do the same, look for clone iconthe following symbol next to the list name. Look up this list under Athena@udorami.com or make me a friend first.

Mother's Day 2016

Target - Order and use free pickup this week.
Target just may be the place to be online this week. Do a quick pickup! I recently checked online, found Pandemic board game was available in the store, got them to match their online price and walk out with EXACTLY what I wanted.
Hot Air Balloon Rides, Flights, Tickets Albuquerque and Phoenix/Scottsdale - Rainbow Ryders
I've lived in Albuquerque with its Balloon Fiesta for over 15 years now...and still no balloon ride. Time to change that?!
Betty's Bath and Day Spa
Soo, many opportunities for your mother to relax and regroup. In Albququerque, but there might be one near you.
Women's Reversible Tote Handbag - Under One Sky
Big enough for my iPad, reversible for different looks.
Planter with plant
These planters are made from discarded pallets. What a great reuse! I met the maker at Earthfest. Local to Albuquerque, NM. I bet there is someone local to you at your grower's market doing similar work and trying to make a living. Jordan Bunn @ 510.837.0312. $25 to $$$- custom
The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business Paperback – January 7, 2014
It is a very powerful book. Though I've read it, it is one of those books I'd like to keep as a reference and lend to others. Including my sons!
Fresh Belgian Chocolate Covered Blackberries
Wow! My mom would love these.
Flower of Life Design from Amrita Bottles
I hope you're seeing a pattern and join in to be more mindful of our earth.
Pandemic Original Cooperative Game
A great family, friend, business game. Talk about having to work together!? You do or everyone dies.
Adopt a Wild Animal
I don't really want the plush animal, but for you to be aware and support good groups like the Sierra Club. Support your community and the environment. There is no planet B!
CHEESE & CRACKERS SERVING BOARD
Kinda cool and fun looking. I could see my boys setting it up for guests. Lining up all the crackers..or dominoes!
The Transformative Negotiator
This wonderful author taught me IP strategies as well as the difficulties in getting engineers to name a product without acronyms. She told us the story of "JAVA". Negotiation skills are key whether you are wheeling and dealing with a two-year old begging for the latest toy, a Ph.D. engineer angling for a bigger toy or a VC in a multi-million dollar buyout.

Help me Replace My Missing Books

Help me Replace My Missing Books

No list available

Moving can be exciting, but also filled with mishaps and mishandling. On a recent move to accept my first job, many books came up missing. Though I’d read them already, they were part of a tangible, beloved library. The books themselves were unimportant, but the stories and opportunity to get lost in them at a moment’s notice filled me with sadness. When Christmas came into view, I could only think of them and made a list on Udorami. I didn’t get them all, but they are trickling in to fill my new bookshelves.
